Farmers Market Committee
The Farmers Market Committee is looking for volunteers to clean and cut up veggies from the Farmers Market on Sunday afternoon or to help distribute soup on Monday or Tuesday mornings.
The Green Team needs you! We are looking for someone to head up the Green Team for next year. This group works on recycling, learning gardens, energy efficiency at school, using green products, "green" education, and more. It is a great job for someone who is interested in living green here at SCVi. If you do not want to be the chair but still want to be involved with this great committee, let us know.
The Health and Wellness committee is looking for volunteers to start organizing a festival for Earth Day April 22, 2011.
School Lunch Committee
This is a new committee forming and will set a meeting date soon.
Let's Can It!
We would like to make helping hungry families
something we do as a community on a regular basis, not just at holiday
time. The Health and Wellness Committee invites you to
"Can It" Friday.
We will collect any unopened and not-expired can or
packaged food or sundry product on the last Friday of each month. This
month, "Can It" Friday will be on September 24. This donation will go to
the Food Pantry in SCV.
There will be a collection box in the front
entrance of the school all day on "Can It" Friday.
