Physicals Offered on Campus, Friday, 8/29, 1:15-4:15 p.m.

If you plan to participate in one of SCVi's upper school sports--and we hope you do!--you will need to complete a physical. As an option for your convenience, Dr. Jeff Willis of the Advanced Health & Wellness Center will be available to complete physicals on campus in Mr. Ramon Hamilton's classroom, Pickford Room #137, on Friday, August 29, between 1:15 and 4:15 p.m. The cost is $35 (cash or check), $10 of which will benefit the athletics department. SCVi is part of a K-8 independent sports league. We compete with seven private and charter schools, such as Legacy Academy, Pinecrest Valencia, and AEA Charter School. We host our home games at local fields, other schools, and sports complexes.

If you have a passion for horses and are interested in competing in equestrian leagues, please contact Cheryl Croasmun. We have Western, Saddleseat, and English disciplines available. Trainers referrals upon request; lease horses available to anyone who does not have their own horse.

Whether you've never done archery are an expert or somewhere in between, come join the SCVi Archery Team. You don't need your own equipment; we can provide everything to get started. Our program follows the United States Archery Association (USAA) and Olympic Archery in Schools (OAS) programs. The program consists of the following:
  • Introduction to Archery
  • Shooting and Range Safety
  • Selection of Equipment
  • Shooting Techniques
  • Scoring
  • Team Building
  • Sportsmanship
  • Inter-Team, Local, and National Competitions
  • And lots of shooting
